Because Saturn is so big, the equator at the level of the atmosphere must spin nearly 400 kilometers per hour faster than the Voyager value implied.
Countries located at latitudes distant from the equator, where the level of UVB is relatively low, had higher incidence rates than countries located at latitudes closer to the equator (Fig. 1).
One potential example is in D. melanogaster, where male flies that are found in warmer regions nearer to the equator have higher levels of the longer-chain monoene 7-pentacosene (7-C25:1, or "7-P") as their main hydrocarbon, compared to flies found in cooler regions further from the equator, which have higher levels of the shorter-chain 7-tricosene (7-C23:1, or "7-T") as their main CHC [ 35].

A positive SAM Index (on the right panel) means the stronger westerly wind, the faster ACC, the Ekman transport anomaly moving toward the equator, and the sea level increasing (decreasing) away from (toward) the Antarctica.
During 13 14 UT, there is a lower number of RO events across the region of interest, but the RO event that occurred close to the geographic equator shows increased scintillation levels, and once again exhibits the corresponding lower electron densities noted above.
Most of these countries are located close to the equator and experience high levels of UVB and low incidence rates of colorectal cancer.
