Even in a repressive environment substance abuse persists, with potential harm because of the need to hide the abuse.
Participants saw a direct connection between the safety of their neighborhood environment, substance use relapse, and their engagement in HIV care.
EP may include substances that are newly detected in the environment, substances already identified as risky and whose use in items is prohibited (but which may be present in old or imported product waste) or substances already known but whose recent use in products can cause problems during their future treatment as waste.
With regard to the environment, substances of very high concern are characterized by persistent, bioaccumulative and toxic properties (PBT-substances), or very persistent and very bioaccumulative properties (vPvB-substances).

In Fig. 4, the growth of the number of unique atom types and atom environments in Substance and Compound with increasing substance identifier (SID) and compound identifier (CID) are shown.
When examining Fig. 4, it may seem counterintuitive that for radii r = 2 (Fig. 4c) and r = 3 (Fig. 4d) a particular fraction of Compound has more unique atom environments than Substance; however, there is no direct correlation between the percentage of Substance and Compound, per se, due to the duplicity and order of chemical structures in Substance.
This study noted the count of unique atom environments in Substance is greater than it is in Compound.
BHPs mentioned the advantage of having worked in medical environments, prisons, substance abuse specialty programs, serious mental illness treatment settings, as well as outpatient specialty mental health clinics.
These high rates of behavioural problems in children and adolescents are attributed to several factors including poverty, armed conflict, infectious diseases like malaria and HIV/AIDS, unfavourable family environments and substance abuse [ 1- 5].
