But to be compassionate or forgiving seems to require being responsive to the actions of others, so perhaps we should not say that God is immutable or impassible after all (see the entry on concepts of God).
This is an interesting philosophical project in its own right (see the discussions in Creel 1985 and the entries on Concepts of God and immutability), but its prospects for success fall beyond the scope of this article.
The initial hint that the association between the two concepts may be a candidate for a hypothesis appears in the case when there is no connection (co-occurrence in the same PubMed entry) of the concepts found in the analyzed set of PubMed entries.
