EE's entry-level plan is now just £2 more than the cheapest equivalent 3G rates on its Orange and T-Mobile networks, which do not offer 4G.

The $10 deal for DirecTV Now comes about by discounting the streaming service's $35 per month entry-level plan, "Live a Live".
With the new unlimited plans, it removed the previously free HBO perk and raised the entry-level plan by $5 per month, Ars Technica reported, detailing the changes that coincided with the launch of WatchTV.
With 256MB of RAM, the Atlantic.Net VPS should be able to run a basic development environment or company blog (though not much more), but the company is obviously also using this entry-level plan to create a bit of buzz and to get people to later upgrade to its larger plans.

Unfortunately, Apple hasn't made similar adjustments to its entry-level plans or the paltry amount of free iCloud storage it gives out to new users.
"EE's decision to offer both a relatively lower-priced tariff at the entry level and a plan with more data at the top end is clearly in response to customer feedback," said Matthew Howett, an analyst with research firm Ovum.
