The government's auto-enrolment project was rolled out in 2012 – but only large companies were affected at first.

After enrolment in this project, some basic dental treatment will be provided for the mother which will include examination and radiographs, scaling and cleaning, non-complicated extractions, and basic dental restorations.

The participation rate for the C8 Health Project, based on US census counts of residents in the affected water districts during Project enrolment, has been estimated at around 80%. 25 In this population, the strongest predictor of PFOA serum concentration was residence in one of the contaminated water districts 26; the serum levels of other PFAAs do not show such geographic variation.
Alberta Health and Wellness manages provincial health care utilization data and Alberta Health Services-Addictions and Mental Health manages provincial addiction treatment data; both agreed to release anonymized data on administrative health data outcomes of interest, by intervention status, from consenting participants for the six months prior to and the six months following project enrolment.
The estimated enrolment for all projects is 7,300 children.
Our projected enrolment is 260 families (130 per group).
