Personal, 24-h MF exposures were monitored prospectively, with the first measurement taken shortly after enrolment and later measurements taken at the beginning of the second and third year after enrolment.

All patients were tested with the ICT-TB on the day of enrolment or not later than 3 days after enrolment.
