Focused examination of domain-specific gene ontology remodeling revealed a general enrichment of Cardiovascular Development in the truncation variants, with unique prioritization of "Cardiovascular Disease" exclusive to the cohort of down regulated genes of the PC truncation variant.
The GO analysis of downregulated DEGs because of VPA in our study showed an enrichment of forebrain development BPs (Table 1a), with 16 transcripts for transcription factors OTX2, ARX, LHX9, ISL1, GLI2, SALL3, ATRX and EMX2).
