Evidence indicates that interprofessional education (IPE) can play a pivotal role in enhancing the competencies of professionals in order to provide elderly care that is both effectively, integrated and well-coordinated.
This paper reports i) the initiative taken by the Faculty of Islamic Studies, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia to enhance the competency of postgraduate students to research in Arabic; and ii) postgraduate students' perception of a remedial Arabic course.
The use of SOB (super optimal broth) over LB [Luria Bertani (broth)] growth media was found to enhance the competency of XL-1 Blue (P<0.05), dampened JM109′s competency (P<0.05), and had no effect on the other strains (P>0.05).

On a second level, the assessments are found with respect to the usefulness of the feedback to enhance the competencies of the students, to improve the learning process (2,5) and finally it was assessed that the feedback has contributed to boost the motivation of the students in the activities (2 out of 4).
Evidence indicates that IPE can enhance the competencies of professionals, which will lead to an improvement in the quality of health care and better patient outcomes [ 15, 16].
Revision of undergraduate and postgraduate curricula to include rural health topics to enhance the competencies of health professionals working in rural areas, and thereby increasing their job satisfaction and retention, is also recommended [ 2, 3].
In line with WHO recommendations [ 2, 3], curricula changes are needed to include rural health topics, to provide greater exposure to general rural practice (both rural community experiences and clinical rotations) with good role models, and to enhance the competencies of health professionals working in rural areas.
Knowing the child's HIV status was perceived as beneficial and as enhancing the caregiver's competency in caregiving as it led to acquiring helpful advice from health professionals and other people.
With this money, the initiative would expand supports and outreach efforts, educate family members on how to identify mental illness in their loved one and how to seek help, and enhance the cultural competency and capabilities of providers to meet veterans' needs effectively.
