It was hypothesized that behavioral interactions that were behaviorally more engaging and which required deeper consideration of the model would result in heightened cognitive interaction and better learning than those whose manipulation required less deliberate behavioral and cognitive processing.
Furthermore, we agree with Hewamanne [ 14] in that deliberately deceiving women into engaging in sexual intercourse without any considerations for the possible SRHR consequences for the women's health and well-being, is also a form of violence against women.
Future work should use findings of this study to help identify the most engaging and effective design approaches, taking into consideration the developmental stages of pediatric users, while also prioritizing efficiency to insure systems are economically feasible on larger scales.
However, these particular issues in South Africa, given the attention they receive from government and media (e.g., Malan 2013; National Development Commission 2011; South African Press Association 2015; Weavind 2014), may be in need of closer consideration if the work of engaging boys and men is to be more effective and move more rapidly.
Engaging boys and men is engaging gender.
When men perceive women as disrespectable they are more likely to justify hostile sexism, which includes engaging in sexual relations with migrant women without due consideration of their SRHR, the possibility of getting married, inclusion in their community, or for their well-being.
