Mr. West traveled for 576 days in the last four years for speaking engagements, fund-raising and work for other nonprofit groups, with trips to Europe, Australia, Indonesia and several other destinations, The Post reported last week.
The pack was developed during 2011 as a result of being awarded funding from the Beacons Programme (an engagement fund supported by Cardiff University, University of Glamorgan, BBC Wales and Techniquest).
The DWP's second venture, the £16m Youth Engagement Fund (YEF), is already funding four, new three and a half year programmes – Career Connect and Teens and Toddlers were again successful bidders.
Organizations likely to be a part of the effort include Catalist, which creates voter lists for allied liberal groups; ProgressNow, a network of state-based Web sites for liberal opinion and activism; and the Latino Engagement Fund, a new group that works to register and turn out Latino voters for Democrats.
