Then, the local controllers of DC-DC power converters are designed to regulate the operating points of the energy generation units.
By considering a typical day of microgrid operation as an example, and according to predictions of load, solar irradiance, wind speed, and temperature, the hourly power output of the renewable energy generation units can be calculated, and the operation of the HESS determined.
