Arsenic-endemic and non-endemic study areas for this study were selected as we described previously [ 3, 9, 20– 20].
The average ages (mean ± SD) of the arsenic-endemic and non-endemic study populations were 38.32 ± 11.79 years and 35.84 ± 11.17 years, respectively.
