An unrealistically optimistic belief that others are at greater risk than ourselves can reduce our willingness to enact healthy behaviours [ 20].
More importantly, policy is political [ 130]; the issue of nutrition must be elevated on the political agenda to generate the political will to enact healthy public policy.
Hibbard et al 43 describes engagement as "the patients' motivation, knowledge, skills, and confidence to make effective decisions to manage their health," thus highlighting the importance of fostering patients' ability to improve their health literacy and enact healthy behaviours.
This allows them to give full sense to their health experience; moreover, they have fully elaborated the impact of their health condition on their daily life and are able to effectively enact healthy behaviours at the right time even when contexts change.

A number of other countries are way ahead of the curve when it comes to enacting policies to foster healthier workplaces and support the health, happiness and productivity of their workers.

Yet, our findings actually support the notion that people have accepted and even embrace this responsibility of enacting a variety of traditional healthy behaviours as well as 'new' types of personal health management.
The sooner we enact MSAs, the healthier all of us will be.
