In our studies on seed dormancy in Sri Lankan Fabaceae, we observed a delay in shoot emergence in two other species of Fabaceae, subfamily Caesalpinioideae, namely Brownea coccinea and Cynometra cauliflora, which suggests that seeds of these two species may also have physiological epicotyl dormancy.
