Open April-October A world away from the cuteness and crowds of St Ives, Gwithian beach is an altogether more elemental spot, pounded by some of Cornwall's most consistent surf.
I passed the Last Inn In England, rolled into Land's End, crossed the start/finish line painted on the road, and pedalled past attractions designed to capture the essence of such a raw and elemental spot – Doctor Who Up Close, The West Country Shopping Village, The Last Labyrinth – beyond which was the dull business of mighty waves crashing against cliffs and the maelstrom of colliding seas.

In addition, according to the EDS line scan in Fig. 6b, the growth of GaSb nanowires starts on the InAs stems, and from the EDS point analysis of the elemental composition distribution in spot 2 (Ga, 48.86%; In, 0.91%; As, 0.70%; Sb, 49.53%), the stoichiometric ratio of Ga and Sb atoms in the grown GaSb segment is approximately 1 1.

Scanning electron microscopy in combination with energy dispersive X-ray analysis (SEM-EDX) studies were performed on a Verion high vacuum electron microscope (FEI, Eindhoven, Netherlands) with an EDX system with spot analysis and elemental mapping facilities (Oxford).
