Recently, many studies have emphasized the importance of the comprehension of detailed functional anatomy and biomechanics of the elbow and its significant contribution in facilitating good functional outcomes of conservative and surgical treatment in the field of elbow disorders.
Many scoring systems have been used for elbow disorders [12].
(See Fig. 2a) This implies that this sub scale has a good coverage for elbow disorders related pain.
Included conditions were shoulder disorders, for example, rotator cuff tendinitis, elbow disorders, for example, humeral epicondylitis and wrist disorders, for example, tenosynovitis.
A convenience sample of 236 patients (Age range 21 79 years; M: F- 97 139) with elbow disorders were recruited from the Roth│McFarlane Hand and Upper Limb Centre, London, Ontario, Canada.
The limitations of the current study are: not all elbow disorders were represented and that we looked at the DIF only for gender and age.
As mentioned above under the discussion of elbow disorders, a significant increase of hand-arm diagnoses in the air-traffic controllers was probably localized to the forearm and related to intense mouse use [ 79].
Elbow MSDs are also common and the State of Washington has reported that elbow disorders accounted for the third highest incidence rate with 29.7 injuries per 10,000 full-time employees.[ 6] Despite high cost and prevalence, relatively poor epidemiological data and few prospective cohort studies have been reported.
