The phrase "elated mood" is correct and usable in written English.
It can be used to describe a state of happiness or joyfulness.
Example: "After receiving the good news, she was in an elated mood for the rest of the day."
Alternatives: "joyful state" or "happy disposition."
After all, there is nothing subtle about mania, grandiose and often psychotic thinking, elated mood, superhuman energy and libido and reckless judgment.
