Based on these data, I repeat the simulations of the previous section on influenza but with parameters for measles in Figs 2, 3 and 4. Figure 2B shows that, as expected, the average infectiousness of a household is less well approximated by either approximation than for the much less infectious case of influenza.
Existing CCU models for control and optimization are either linear approximations around an operating point or very complex nonlinear ones, resulting in difficulties for real time applications.
