The overall goal of the EU project "LIFE Cycle Habitation" is to design and build prototypes for carbon-neutral and "LIFE cycle -oriented buildings to make energy-efficycle -orientedts the standard of tomorrow in line with the EU 2020 obuildings.
Both parts of the survey were conducted in Italy, Germany, and the UK and sought to gain insights into perceptions about new energy-efficient settlement development.
Several initiatives of urban planning point out, that energy-efficient settlement structures also lead to a high quality of life and have several features in common like de-centralised concentration, multi-functionality, nearness within walking and/or biking distances as well as certain densities (see, e.g. [8 16]).

But that would cut across attempts to create a more efficient pan-European settlement infrastructure.
Merging exchanges allows liquidity to be pooled; it also offers the means for more efficient clearing and settlement.
Globally, old and historic settlements exhibit efficient urban planning in terms of compactness, walkability, energy efficiency and social cohesiveness.
The second option would be to develop a more efficient market for structured settlement purchasers or to allow the companies who issue structured settlements to commute the payments at a set discount rate.
