Our data suggest that the use of MNS improves safety without compromising efficiency of ablations.
To compare the efficiency of radiofrequency ablation (RFA) using the newly designed flexible laparoscopic radiofrequency electrode and the internally cooled needle electrode for creating an ablation zone in ex vivo and in vivo porcine livers.

Herein, we developed a multifunctional targeted poly(lactic-co-glycolic acid) (PLGA) nanobubbles (NBs), which not only function as an efficient ultrasound contrast agent for tumor imaging, but also a targeted anticancer drug carrier and excellent synergistic agent for enhancing the therapeutic efficiency of HIFU ablation.
