Technical efficiency depicts the capability of production units to transform their inputs into outputs.
When we consider the DPS coating, these efficiencies depict higher magnitude than PEC and PMC sphere at higher values of coating thickness, while in DNG case scattering efficiencies following increasing pattern at lower values of coating thickness.
From Figs. 7, 8 and 9 we concluded that when the nihility sphere is coated with DNG metamaterial the behavior of Forward-scattering, Back-scattering and Extinction efficiencies are more sensitive than DPS coated nihility sphere and Forward-Scattering, Back-scattering and Extinction efficiencies depict higher magnitude then PEC and PMC at lower values of coating thickness and vice versa.
Note: Size designated according to catchment population, i.e. small (<15,000), medium (15,000 30,000) and large (>30,000) Figures 1, 2 further elucidate the effect of catchment population on CRS, VRS and scale efficiency by depicting efficiency alterations with increasing population, for the NHS and IKA respectively.
The effect of contact time on adsorption efficiency is depicted in Fig. 4.
However, the worst case scenario (PPM-W) profoundly affected the operational efficiency, as depicted in both Figs. 9 and 10.
The contour plot of the influence of the operating parameters on the SO2 oxidation efficiency is depicted in Fig. 13.
On the other hand, the interaction effect of pH and contact time on the biosorption efficiency is depicted in the contour plot of Fig. 2b.
