The efficacy of response to preoperative chemoradiotherapy (CRT) in recurrent versus primary rectal cancer has not been investigated.
This finding of poor tolerance and lower efficacy of response in combination studies with bexarotene has previously been reported with vorinostat (Dummer et al, 2012a).
