The appropriate adsorption time for SPME coating HBr was found to be 30 s and the desorption time for 2-bromothanol formed after sampling was determined to be 5 min. The experimental sampling constant of the sampler was found to be (2.96±0.09)×10−2 cm3/min, while face velocity (0 0.25 m/s) as well as RHs (10 80%) were not expected to have effects on the sampler.

Thereafter, antimicrobial effects on the sample's surface (i.e. bacterial sessile growth) and the surrounding fluid medium (i.e. bacterial planktonic growth) were investigated.
The acquisition time for each measurement was 20 s and a defocused laser power level in the range of 10 to 60 mW was used to prevent the possible thermal effects on the samples.
The major disadvantages of this method include, joule heating and modification of transmembrane potential, which could lead to cell damage and other undesirable effects on the sample's integrity [1, 3].
The plot still shows grain size effects on the sample at this high pressure and temperature (Fig. 3, blue-solid-circles). Figure 3, left reveals that there is no apparent grain growth at different high pressure.
In addition, these measurements can be adapted to a wide variety of metal systems by choosing an appropriate potential range where only capacitive behavior is evident, thus minimizing any permanent effects on the sample.
While stomach flushing is certainly an improvement ethically, the procedure requires animal capture and can have adverse effects on the sampled birds and/or their offspring [e.g. 7].
If an individual has A(major) and B(major) at two genomic locations, there are no effects on the sample.
A very thin layer of gold (8 nm) was deposited on both faces of the self-standing film to avoid charge effects on the sample.
This may result in unwanted exposure which is prone to produce photo-bleaching and photo-toxic effects on the sample [ 17].
However, statistical analysis turned out that there were only nitrogen fertilization effects on the samples of April 16 and April 27 for C. thermocellum, and there were no nitrogen fertilization effects on all sample for SSCF.
