In order to study the tacticity effect of the backbone on the thermotropic properties of side-chain liquid crystalline (SCLC) polymers, the synthesis of four polymethacrylates with different tacticities and bearing methoxy biphenyl mesogenic groups was carried out.
The WAXD data showed that POSS formed aggregation instead of crystallization in the polymer matrix, indicating the significant effect of the backbone constraint on POSS crystallization.
We synthesized an ODN2006 sequence consisting of either a PD or PTO backbone PD-ODN20066 PTO-ODN20062006, respecTabley) (Table 1) and examined the effect of the backbone composition on NF-κB activity.
