To analyze the LOT, OBG, and P p relationship, we plot the net LOT pressure or effective LOT pressure gradient (LOT − P p) versus effective overburden stress gradient (OBG − P p) for all 229 LOT datasets in which the pore pressures and overburden stresses are reliable (Fig. 4).
