Although previous studies have suggested that typical antipsychotics impair maternal behavior, the effects of the atypical antipsychotics have not been systematically explored.
The current study was designed to examine the effects of the atypical antipsychotic drugs — risperidone, clozapine and analogs of clozapine on glucose uptake in PC12 cells.
