By using an incremental ACE test, which permitted an individual HR-EE relationship similar to that performed by Hayes et al [67], individual calibration was incorporated and MAE was considerably reduced to 16.8% across all activities.
Considering the type of activities performed, the large variations in cardiovascular fitness and cardiovascular responses to exercise stress persons who use wheelchairs, individual specific HR-EE relationships are necessary for the accurate prediction of EE using HR.
The slope of left ventricular end-systolic pressure volume relationship (Ees) and preload recruitable stroke work (PRS W recovered significantly better with levosimendan compared to epinephrine (Ees: 85 ± 9% vs 51 ± 11%, P<0.003 and PRSW: 78 ± 5% vs 48±8%8%, P<0.005; baseline: 100%).

The association of heterosis with the difference between BS of parents of the purebreds and BS of parents of their half-sib crossbreds was favourable and significant for early production traits in lines DD and EE, but no relationship was found in lines AA and BB.
Those treating EE performance as an organizing process analyse the relationship between EE members and factors that contribute to EE performance such as inter-organizational learning and improvements (Alguezaui and Filieri 2014; Barratt 2004; Braziotis and Tannock 2011; Filieri and Alguezaui 2012).
The lack of relationship between EE from activity and total EE may have been either due to increased variability in the expenditure of other processes in the total daily energy budget and/or because of a reduction in EE from other metabolic processes that matched EE from activity.
Below thermoneutrality, activity did affect EE when looking at the relationship between activity and EE in an individual mouse across time; however, when comparing EE from activity across multiple mice, the amount a mouse moved did not appear to affect total EE.
There was no significant relationship between EE and MMSE.
As regards the relationship between EE levels and characteristics of relatives and patients, there were few significant differences on all measures used in the study (Table 1).
