To date, only few EEG-fMRI studies of WM examined the relationship between EEG band dynamics and fMRI responses, i.e. the Blood Oxygen Level Dependency (BOLD) signal, during the retention period of a WM task [22], [23], [24].
Mantini et al. (2007) investigated the correlation of various EEG frequency bands with these RSNs using EEG fMRI and found evidence for specific group level EEG band power correlation profiles for six RSNs.
