The experimental results show that the output of the model as an edge map representation of a stimuli could provide us not only the multiple-scale edge information as the indications for some shades around the edges, but also other hidden information such as local texture in the stimuli, as well as possible underlying mechanism for perceptual grouping arrangements at different scales.
