By overlaying the five ecological zones with these three economic subareas, the study area was divided into four sub-regions in terms of social, economic, and ecological characteristics: the metropolitan eco-economic core area, the western-middle eco-economic corridor, the Three Gorges Reservoir eco-economic zone, and the southeastern eco-economic district (Fig. 2).
Four rural communities were thus selected for this study: Bailin Village (Beibei District) in the metropolitan eco-economic core area, Banliao Village (Wansheng District) in the western-middle eco-economic corridor, Dacao Village (Kaixian County) in the Three Gorges Reservoir eco-economic zone, and Tuanjie Village (Qianjiang District) in the southeastern eco-economic district (Fig. 2).
In the study-area, an estimated 70% of the adults had no minimum qualifications, compared to 61% in the whole of Tonga (8), and residence in low socio-economic districts has been related to lower child-HRQoL (50).
The City of Omak's mayor council government comprises a mayorwho also represents north-central Washington's separate economic development district and a seven-member council.
Zhejiang, Guangxi, Chongqing represented south of China, Jilin represents north of China; Zhejiang represented east of China, Guangxi and Chongqing represented west of China; Zhejiang represented economic developed districts and Chongqing, Jilin, Guangxi represented economic developing districts according to their gross domestic product(GDP) contribution in 2006[ 36].
But in these hard economic times, districts are cutting programs, including some sports, and some taxpayers are already irate about the cost of communal action.
In the economic downturn, districts are struggling to balance this transportation mandate with academic expenses and want more help from the state.
But in slow economic climates, districts tend to scale back -- as in the era in which New York City closed the 65 buildings during the fiscal crisis of the 1970's.
A simple, easily implemented way to do that would be for towns, counties, economic development districts, chambers of commerce, and other government or business-promotional entities to provide funds for the first two or three years of student-loan repayment in exchange for starting a particular type of business in the area.
