You can't eat in bed.
You can eat in bed, al fresco, feet up on the table, on the sofa in front of the TV, with fingers, commando style, whatever.
This smelly, red-faced drunk shuffles about in his pajamas and says things like "I spend most of my days in bed; I most often eat in bed, watching cartoons on Fox TV".
It's all very refined, down to the parmesan topping, but I miss the velvety texture of the plain white sauce, and find the onion too bullyingly dominant: macaroni cheese should be something one could happily eat in bed, should opportunity call, and alliums and pillows should never mix.
You may have heard that you shouldn't watch TV or eat in bed so that your body gets used to the idea that it should only associate your bedroom with relaxing and going to sleep.
Order in takeout and gather your kids to eat in bed with you and watch a movie?
