The Bureau of Labor Statistics tracked 535 full-time, "detailed" occupations in 2014 and, in the 125 occupations with comparable earnings data, men earned more than women in all but one profession: stock clerks and order fillers.
The national retirement pension, for example, has been increased in line with the average total weekly earnings of men (they earn more than women!) since 1997.
Women, who account for 43.5% of people employed in the industry, earn $52,459 annually, far less than the median earnings for men working in the sector.

The current average total full-time earnings for men is $88,223, while for women it is just $71,245.
