According to the 1989 Ṭāʾif Accord, parliamentary seats are apportioned equally between Christian and Muslim sects, thereby replacing an earlier ratio that had favoured Christians.
Instead, the later court is free to avoid the result indicated by the earlier ratio so long as it can find some difference in facts between the two cases that narrows the earlier ratio while still supporting the result in the earlier case.
As the later case falls within the scope of the earlier ratio (i.e., within the scope of the rule), one might expect that the decision in the later case must be the same (unless the court has the power to overrule the earlier case and decides to do so).
However, the main advantage of the current method is that DYI is calculated as a linear function of parameter estimates within the framework of a mixed model after accounting for a significant genotype x stress-level interaction across environments and it therefore provides more precise statistical inference, which was not the case with the earlier ratio-based measures.
We obtained the uptake ratio from each scan and calculated the retention index:uptake ratio = region of interest uptake/contralateral normal lung uptake; retention index = (delayed ratio - early ratio)/early ratio.
During REST1 and RUN1 the future cued and uncued arm cells did not differ in activity, this was true for both the first and second half of these periods (mean cued/uncued rate ratio: REST1 early ratio = 0.96, p = 0.88, REST1 late ratio = 1.04 p = 0.09, RUN1 early ratio = 1.09 p = 0.32, RUN1 late ratio = 1.18 p = 0.22, Figure 3D).
Finally, the difference between the two groups persisted through the subsequent rest period, albeit attenuating with time (REST2 early ratio = 1.30 p < 0.001, REST2 late ratio = 1.10 p < 0.01, Figure 3D).
However, during GOAL-CUE cued arm cells were significantly more active than uncued arm cells, an effect that was most pronounced during the first half (5 min) of the cueing period (GOAL-CUE early ratio = 1.78, p = 0.01, late = 1.46, p < 0.01).
Patients were then divided into 2 groups based on the early enhancement ratio: early enhancement (early enhancement ratio ≥50%, n = 41) and delayed enhancement (early enhancement ratio <50%, n = 67).
As mentioned earlier, the ratio of harvested to planted hectares for GS (0.83) is lower than this ratio for corn (0.92) [ 9].
A decade earlier, that ratio was 3 times.
