We have recently reported an integrated and comparative analysis of the transcriptome of E imeria acervulina, E. maxima and E. tenella, including ORESTES data produced by our group and publicly available ESTs (14).

These results demonstrate that the Gam82 recombinant protein protects against E. maxima and augments humoral and cell-mediated immunity.
