Dynamic hypothesis generation and confirmation techniques are a necessity for enabling scientific progress in extreme-scale science domains.

In the previous research of the authors [30], a conceptual framework of the non-ETS DH model (Fig. 2) was developed using the five main steps of SD problem formulation, creating a dynamic hypothesis, model formulation and simulation, model testing, and scenario simulation.

The main dynamic hypothesis is that non-ETS DH systems will be the first ones from this sector to shift to the fourth generation system, which is characterized by its high renewable energy share, low-temperature networks, and low specific heat consumption at end users.

This is a key factor in our model as an innate defense mechanism that involves draining non-replicating bacilli towards the alveolar spaces in large mammals and also as a source of the bacilli which induce the constant endogenous reinfection process that forms the basis of the "dynamic hypothesis" proposed to explain LTBI in large mammals[51].

As this dissemination still exists, albeit at a low level, these findings also support the Dynamic Hypothesis, which postulates that maintenance of an LTBI requires a constant endogenous reinfection [33], and might explain the success of humans in controlling TB infections and the low progression towards active TB.

The results suggest a significant role for the reinfection process, thereby supporting the "dynamic hypothesis" and enabling us to better understand the reality of scenarios with a high prevalence of active TB patients where there is a very high probability of constant exogenous reinfection.

To assess career choice, religiosity, and evolution understanding, we created a 65-item survey with items belonging to four general categories of social dynamic hypotheses: Religiosity (R); Educational Background (EB); Career Choice Factors (CCF); and Evolution Understanding (UE).

In order to formulate the model, we followed a variation of the standard SD method,[19] which was developed by listing the system variables, dynamic hypotheses, and attempts to incorporate any possible decisions for evaluating each loop.

In particular, we wanted to discriminate between the developmentally stable and developmentally dynamic hypotheses that predict quite different patterns for cross age genetic effects on symptoms of AAD.

More importantly, we wish to propose testable structural and dynamic hypotheses based on the insights that have already been gained that might lead to general models of polyketide synthase structure and function, with the further possibility of allowing their rational and efficient engineering.
