"dude about" is not a correct or common phrase in written English.
It is possible that you may have heard it used in spoken or colloquial language, but it is not considered grammatically correct and should not be used in formal writing. If you wanted to use a similar phrase in written English, you could say "talked about" or "joked around." Corrected example: The guys joked around about their favorite movies.
