Although a considerable fraction of tumours (41.3%) had imprecisely defined topography codes (i.e., C70.9 meninges, not otherwise specified NOS; C72.5 cranial nerve, NOS; C71.0 cerebrum, NOS) (Fritz et al, 2000), cRSR demonstrated impaired survival for tumours of the cerebral meninges, optic nerve, craniopharyngeal duct, brain stem, cerebellum, and ventricles (see Table 5).
