The receding water front flattens the GO sheets on a flat substrate from the edge to the center of the droplet, causing an anisotropic compressive force on the GO sheets that orders the wrinkle pattern.
The retraction of the droplet caused the interfacial tension increase.
This basic solution interacts with the acidic droplet, causing the part of the droplet facing the exit to become more acidic than the part of the droplet facing away from the exit.

The activated surface of the coverslip was then placed on top of the acrylamide droplet, causing the solution to flatten under the weight of the coverslip.
The negative contribution from the interaction reflects that the mutual interaction of the adjacent droplets causes additional loss to the reflected light.
