From Michelangelo to Louise Bourgeois, from Rembrandt to Franz Kline, this cornucopia of drawings from one of the most important collections in the United States bristles with the work of stellar talents.
The exhibition, "Otto Dix: Drawings From One War to the Next," which through March 31 presents 95 examples of Dix's graphic art, throws only a tiny spotlight on a life's work that includes hundreds of paintings and some 6,000 works on paper.
A major retrospective opening Oct. 29 and continuing through Jan . 15at the Museum of Modern Art gathers together more than 100 paintings and drawings from one of the most widely shown artists working today.
