Emotion dysregulation is prominent in generalized anxiety disorder (GAD), characterized clinically by exaggerated reactivity to negative stimuli and difficulty in down-regulating this response.
Moreover, while moderate reduction in percentage of Bcl-2+ cells within CD127hi population of KO mice was noted, anti IL-7 treatment further down-regulated this response (Figure 2B).
As expected, treatment with LPS (1 µg/ml) increased IL-1β and IL-8 production at 2 h and exposure to CO (250 ppm) significantly down-regulated this response in both THP-1 cells (p<0.02 for both, paired t-test; Figure 2, A and B, respectively) and primary human monocytes (p<0.02 for both, paired t-test; Figure 2, C and D, respectively).
