The students in lower division courses reported reviewing notes (58%), creating artifacts (37%), reviewing textbooks (51%), and doing problems (42%) and quizzes (16%) more than the students in upper division courses (see Fig. 4).
A child, whose intelligence is primarily spatial in nature, may find it very difficult to learn arithmetic the standard way by sitting in the classroom, with a teacher doing problems on the blackboard.
