Using the phrase 'doing like that' is technically grammatically correct, but it is not a very elegant phrase and may be better replaced with other expressions. You can use it when you are speaking casually, for example: "Stop doing like that and start being more responsible!".

Instead of doing like that, a better way to get more accuracy is by a conventional iterative method such as fixed point.
