An equally important question, and one that has direct relevance for cognitive studies, is whether the DN alters its functional structure across time or in response to cognitive activity, i.e. whether two resting-state scans that are separated by time or task execution will show the same spatial composition.
These structures were DNs (6/11 cases, 54.5 %).
