In a step toward even more transparency, the USOC now requires each sport's governing body to submit a diversity scorecard each year.
In 2008, 15 percent of its lawyers were minorities, according to the Diversity Scorecard, an annual survey by The American Lawyer, but in 2011, the year covered by the most recent scorecard, 10 percent were minorities.
