In an attempt to identify resistance biomarkers, we used a differential proteomics approach (2D-DIGE) to compare BBMV proteomes from susceptible (YDK) and three resistant H. virescens strains (CXC, KCBHyb, and YHD2-B) displaying diverse resistance phenotypes [36].
