Estimates of prevalence of multimorbidity vary widely in the literature, related to different definitions of multimorbidity (type and number of diseases included in the definition), diverse data sources (questionnaires, medical records, patient charts, and administrative data), and dissimilar patient populations studied [ 2, 14], making comparisons between studies difficult.
To facilitate access by diverse groups, the questionnaire was available in major local languages: Arabic, English, Farsi, Hindi, Polish, and Somali.
This study was conducted in a racially and ethnically diverse sample, using existing questionnaires to assess care providers perceptions and beliefs.
Although the questionnaires have diverse frameworks and their crude scores may be different and difficult to compare, they appeared to be influenced by socio-demographic and morbidity variables in a similar way, especially EQ5D and SF6D.

The parameters investigated in the different questionnaires were very diverse among studies (Table 3).
Nevertheless, cognitive interviews do appear to be a useful tool for identifying language and cultural problems associated with questionnaires aimed at diverse populations [ 12, 15, 18, 19, 22, 23, 25- 27].
These previous studies did not address the application of a comprehensive panel of quality of life and mental health instruments to a large population of thyroid cancer survivors of diverse stages by cancer-specific questionnaires.
