With increasing bulk flow velocity of the outer jet, the degree of flow divergence decreases, resulting in an increase in the height of the stagnation point.
If we remove the vcrA leader sequence from the calculation, the age of divergence decreases to 900 years.
Furthermore, when considering the ratio of DIM transitions over DIM transversions at different levels of duplication sequence divergence, we observed a trend in which the transition bias increased when duplication divergence decreased.
In addition, the distribution of the read divergence of LINE/R1 elements is strongly concentrated at the left of the graphic (representing recent TE copies) in A. aegypti, while in A. albopictus the proportion of reads in superfamilies of higher divergence decreases more slowly (representing older TE copies).
