According to the type of information available, such as single points, series or distributions of observations, various approaches should be used.
EPP involves several major steps: (1) deriving the joint distributions of raw forecasts and observations corresponding to different canonical events; (2) obtaining the probability distributions of observations given the raw forecasts; and (3) constructing ensemble forecasts from the conditional probability distributions given the raw forecasts.
The distribution of observation time is shown in Table 4.

Moreover, the distribution of observation points is much denser in agriculturally productive regions (Leathwick et al. 2002), whereas plantation forestry is generally confined to marginally productive lands.
Database showed an equal distribution of observation points between forests and open lands, although huemul is considered as a forest species (Corti et al. 2011; Quevedo et al. 2017).
