In their experiment Stern and Gerlach found only two deflections, not the continuous distribution of deflections that would have been seen if the magnetic moment had been oriented in any direction.
Figures 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25 and 26 demonstrate the distribution of bending moment and deflection results along sections A, B, C, D, E, F and G in the considered slab (see Fig. 8).

The distribution of the deflection angles to the different magnet types has been optimized.
Figure 2 shows the radial distribution of the deflection of plate for g = 0 and clamped boundary condition at different moments in time: briefly after applying the uniform load, Figure 2a, and later in time.
In each time scale, if the motor state is 1, the cell runs forward at a speed 0.02 mm/s [33]; otherwise, it tumbles and reorients, and distribution of direction deflection follows the finding of Liu et al [33].
Thus the model predicts that strong biases in the distribution of experienced deflection directions will be reflected in the direction maps, both as expanded regions for over represented directions, and as patches of less selective neurons in the somatotopically correct locations for under-represented directions.
With the discretized equations, the natural frequencies, the time histories of the deflections, and the distributions of the deflection and stress are investigated.
Then, distribution of curvature, bending stiffness, deflection and interface slip can be determined by identified neutral axis position.
