Consideration of more intensive school based interventions will need to take account of the cost, not just financial but also in terms of possible disruptions to learning, and ways of making these acceptable to parents, teachers, and children.

Schools, and some teachers in particular, were acutely aware of the possible disruption to the learning of final year high school students and they went to significant lengths to minimise this, even when teachers were themselves in home isolation.
